Making Nutrient Mixture

Hydroponic nutrients are fertilizers specially formulated for hydroponic growing systems, where plants are grown in nutrient-rich water rather than soil. They provide essential macro and micronutrients (e.g. nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium) for plant growth and health. Hydroponic nutrients are available in various forms such as liquid, powder, and tablet form. The specific composition of hydroponic nutrients can vary based on the stage of plant growth and the type of crop being grown.
Making Nutrients from Our Powder
  • Take 2 empty Bottles of 1 Litter each, Mark each as A & B

  • Mix Each packet of A & B in Bottles of A & B respectively in the water of 1 litre

  • Note- Do not mix both powders in one bottle

  • This is a master solution named it A and B

  • After that take One cup of each of the master solutions then mix it up in a water bucket and wait for 10 min after that take a reading using the TDS meter, and repeat this procedure up to 300 to 400 ppm reading for the first 2 weeks after that 500 to 650 ppm for last 3 to 5 week

  • Kindly check it every week

How to Make your own Nutrients

For hydroponics, you’ll want to have these three nutrient mixes to regularly fertilize your system:

  1. N-P-K Mix (20-20-20)

  2. Calcium nitrate

  3. Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate)

  4. Micronutrients Mix

For leafy vegetables

  1. Stage one- to two leaves come from seed.

germination different stages

Nutrient requirement -  No requirement for nutrients only water

2. Stage two- 25-30 Days from stage One

Nutrient requirement-

N P K – 19:19:19 – 4 gram

Calcium nitrate – 2 gram

Epsom salt – 1 gram

Micronutrient- 0.5 gram

After mixing these nutrients TDS level will be 400-500 ppm

For 5-litre water- 0-110 ppm

Week wise TDS requirement in Summer & Winter

3. Stage Three-

Nutrient requirement-

N P K – 30:10:10 – 8 gram

Calcium nitrate – 4 gram

Epsom salt – 2 gram

Micronutrient- 1 gram

(If N P K – 30:10:10 not available then use NPK-19:19:19 and urea in the same  proportion)

TDS-

SUMMER-500-700

WINTER- 700-1000

For 5-litre water- 0-110 ppm
